When I pulled the car into the collision garage, I explained that I would be paying for the damage myself and also said I was, frankly, not that concerned with the cosmetics of a 1999 car. The service manager I dealt with, Vache Krikorian was helpful, friendly, and very honest. He estimated what a repair would be, but I told him a really didn't care about a one-inch dent, but I needed my hood to be able to open. To my surprise, Mr. Krikorian used his hand and just pulled on the side of the car and fixed the problem so the hood was fine and all I had to do was go purchase the headlight and pop it in.
I would have been happy to pay something, but Mr. Krikorian said that there was no charge. This may have been a quick and simple thing to Penske, but it was a very appreciated experience for me. I will drive my 1999 car as long as it is working well, but when I go to purchase my next car, we will come to Penske.
